Zeo Pet & Vet - A unique mineral supplement for all pets.

Zeo Pet & Vet - contains zeolite, a naturally occurring volcanic ash which can:
* Absorb harmful heavy metals from the body
* Support a healthy immune system
* Help balance pH levels
* Promote long term health and well-being
* Assist with premature aging concerns
* Is natural and non-toxic - passes safely out of the body
Honeycomb StructureZeolite is best described as a ‘chelating’ or cleansing agent. In this case a negatively charged honeycomb structure, which can attract and electro-chemically bond with toxic minerals and metals such as lead, copper, aluminium, cadmium, mercury, nickel and arsenic for safe, natural removal from the body.
By producing chemicals that do not naturally occur we have exposed our animals to foreign substances that their bodies do not recognize. Because our animals are incapable of removing these toxins they are harboured within their cell structure, developing into health concerns over time.
Zeo Pet & Vet has been formulated as a dietary supplement to assist with conditions related to environmental toxin exposure.
Zeo Pet & Vet is a dietary supplement containing sub-micronized Zeolite suspended in a glycerin water base. Zeolite has a negatively charged honeycomb structure, capable of attracting and bonding with toxic heavy metals such as Mercury, Aluminum, Cadmium, Copper, Nickel, Arsenic and inorganic compounds (such as pesticides) that are positively charged.
Through the process of cat-ion exchange, these compounds are attracted to and trapped within the zeolite's structure, for safe removal from the body. The removal of contaminants allows the immune system to operate unhindered and pH levels return to a normal acid/alkaline balance (pH 7.0 - 7.4).
Unlike most chelating techniques which are not specific about the compounds they attract (they remove essential minerals and metals along with harmful heavy metals and contaminants), Zeolite has a natural affinity for harmful heavy metals and compounds (Copper, Lead, Mercury etc.) over beneficial metals and minerals (Zinc, Iron, Magnesium etc.)
However it is important to note that Zeolite removes water along with heavy metals and toxins which could lead to dehydration if water is not available. It is normal for animals to double their water intake during the chelating process; therefore it is important that clean drinking water is readily available.

What is Zeo Pet & Vet ?
Zeo Pet & Vet is a 'chelating' or cleansing formulation containing pure Australian Clinoptilolite. A natural volcanic ash which is essentially a negatively charged honeycomb like 'cage' structure capable of attracting and electro-chemically bonding with toxic compounds and metals such as Mercury, Lead, Copper, Aluminium, Cadmium, Nickel and Arsenic for safe, natural removal from the body.
Zeo Pet & Vet is the purest Australian Zeolite which has been 'sub-micronised' into tiny particles in a liquid suspension formula that is more 'bio-available' to all parts of the body for detoxification purposes.
What is Zeolite ?
Zeolite is a mineral, consisting of alternating Silica Tetra Oxide and Aluminium Tetra Oxide crystals that arrange themselves in a lattice-like configuration. The compound has a negative electrostatic charge, while toxic heavy metals have a positive charge.
Zeolite thus provides an extensive negatively charged surface area that can attract and bind negatively charged toxic metals. The Zeolite-metal complex is then excreted from the body. The Aluminium is locked in to the Zeolite structure and is not retained within your pets body.
Zeolites have been used extensively in water processing, have been shown to be of value in bacterial diarrhea (it binds to bacterial toxins too) and are now being used in animals and humans. Zeolite is less potent a chelator than the chemical agents such as EDTA, DMSA and DMPS.
Zeolites are hydrated aluminosilicate mineral combinations which have a unique "open" micro porous molecular structure often described as "honeycomb" in appearance. There are many forms of Zeolite. In fact there are 48 naturally occurring Zeolites known and more than 150 synthesized Zeolite types.
What is cat-ion exchange ?
Zeolites are also often referred to as molecular sieves. The term 'molecular sieve' refers to the unique properties of zeolite in their ability to selectively sort molecules based primarily on their size and electrochemical charge. The fact that the zeolites were formed from alkaline salts has imparted in them a natural, strong negative charge referred to as its "cat-ion exchange capacity'. Each deposit has its own different CEC that is peculiar to that particular Zeolite deposit.
The possibility to attract and hold positively charged cations at ease through their open cage structure gives zeolites their great advantage to act as natural sieves or filters for many heavy metal cations and other molecules that carry positive charges. To use a layman's explanation it has an action similar to a magnet attracting iron filings and holding them.
The CEC is measured in milliequivalents per 100 grams [meq/100g]. This measurement is expressing the negative charge of the structure so that there is a difference between the amount of the positive charged [i.e. 1*, 2*, 3*] cations and molecules that are needed to balance the cage's negative charge.
The higher the negative charge the higher the CEC. The higher the CEC the stronger the attraction and the more heavy metal cations and other positively charged molecules that can be held in the cages.
Natural Zeolites can accommodate a wide variety of cations, for example the heavy metals Al, Pb², Hg², Ni², Cu², Ba, Fe³, Zn², Cr³ and others such as Na, K, Ca², Mg² and many other molecules which carry a positive charge. These positive ions are rather loosely held and can readily be exchanged for others in a contact solution.
Why Australian Zeolite ?
Not all Zeolites are created equal. They differ in purity and density which affects their abilities and their structure. Australian Zeolite is more than 300 million years old, it is much older, harder and has greater purity and density than others. The carrying dimensions of the "cages" increase with time and purity of the surrounding environment.
With the increasing environmental contamination from airborne and water pollutants few Zeolite deposits worldwide can claim to be so free of them.
Why Zeo Pet & Vet ?
The uniqueness of Zeo Pet & Vet' technology is the broad spectrum range of the sub-micronised particles ranging from 0.2 to 2.7 microns, with 85% < 1 micron. The highly selective attraction and binding of toxic heavy metals varies with 1) toxin's charge density and 2) the toxin's molecular size. With the varying micron sizes the toxins naturally find their most attractive partner. The greater the range of varying micron sizes results in a greater selection of toxins and heavy metals that can be bound.
Zeo Pet & Vet Affinity:

Barium, Bismuth, Cesium, Gadolinium, Gallium, Niobium, Platinum, Rubidium, Thallium, Thorium, Tungsten, Uranium and more.
If Zeolite is so effective as a chelating agent, why has it not been discovered before now ?
Actually Zeolite has been used for centuries in various forms; a specific instance was in China where 800 years ago it was regularly used by women wanting to "cleanse" before falling pregnant. There is lots of anecdotal evidence like this but it was not till last century that zeolite took on real acclaim in industrial uses to more effectively assist us with a cleaner environment. Zeolite has been used in animal husbandry, agriculture, water purification and even Nuclear Waste Reprocessing with remarkable success. It has only been in the last few years however, that Zeolite has been considered for medicinal, health and well-being purposes.
If Zeolite can remove harmful toxins, can it carry away valuable vitamins and minerals also ?
As yet there is no recognized scientific evidence to prove this. However taken in low to moderate dosage levels and complemented by a balanced diet with dietary vitamins and mineral supplements risks are widely thought to be negligible. Zeolite as a chelating agent has the ability to carry in beneficial ingredients whilst carrying away harmful others.
It is an important point to note however, that Zeolite is actually a crystalline mineral itself, so it does not capture other minerals with the same negative charge, only the opposite positive (+) charge. Also, most minerals like Calcium, Magnesium etc. are far too large to fit inside the angstrom sized honeycomb cages of zeolite and therefore are not taken up by the Zeolite.
Without actual recognised clinical and medical proof just yet, we believe that Zeolite can extract harmful toxins from the body that impair the natural immune system.
What are the effects of Zeo Pet & Vet ?
Your pet's pH levels should balance throughout the body which will then allow the natural immune system to work more efficiently. Given that all animals have had relatively different exposures to various levels of toxins from food and the environment, there is a wide range of feedback from pet owners using Zeolite for various reasons ranging from specific ailments to general beneficial health and well-being concerns.
You said that you sub-micronized zeolite ? Does Zeo Pet & Vet contain nano sized particles and if so, which benefits do they offer ?
Yes we do sub-micronise Zeolite as we have observed that a smaller particle size has a greater absorption potential and a higher cation exchange potential.
Zeo Pet & Vet is processed to have sub-micron particles which allows us to expose far more of the angstrom sized, honeycomb shaped structures of Zeolite. These particles are many times more effective, and pass out of the body in natural processes efficiently.
Zeo Pet & Vet does not contain nano-particles. After undergoing rigorous experimentation we feel that nano sized particles are dangerous because there are too many unanswered long term questions. Evidence exists that details dangers of nano particles entering humans through cosmetics and medicine.
We are receiving excellent results with sub-micron particles and this is now the major focus of our research team. Our sub-micronisation is many times more effective in the Interstinal fluid (or tissue fluid). The fluid found in the intercellular spaces composed of water, amino acids, sugars, fatty acids, coenzymes, hormones, neurotransmitters, salts and cellular products. It bathes and surrounds the cells of the body, and provides a means of delivering materials to the cells, intercellular communication, and removal of metabolic waste to pass out of the body in natural processes efficiently.
What micron size is your Clinoptilolite ?
Sub-micronised particles starting from 0.2 to 2.7 microns, with 85% less than one micron and 55% is less than 0.6 microns. This is highly advantageous since the highly selective attraction and binding of toxic heavy metals varies with 1) Toxin's charge density and 2) the toxin's molecular size. With the varying micron sizes the toxins naturally find their most attractive partner. The greater the range of various micron sizes the greater the selection of toxins and heavy metals encapsulated.
What would happen if too much Zeo Pet & Vet was taken at one time ?
For most animals there are no side effects. This is a safe chelation product. If your pet experiences discomfort, it is likely due to dehydration. Have the animal drink more water, and any symptoms of discomfort should pass.
If Clinoptilolite Zeolite is such a powerful absorbent, even to air-borne toxins, would Zeolite from the source not also contain contaminants ?
Australian Zeolite used in Zeo Pet & Vet is from a remote source, and is free from most contaminants although it will have some natural impurities found in all natural Zeolite.
The site that the Zeolite used is from is very remote, far away from power stations, manufacturing companies, crop growing areas (that may use herbicides). There has also been no nuclear testing in the area which eliminates radioactive contamination.
Does your company ensure that Zeo Pet & Vet is a pure product ?
Yes the Clinoptilolite Zeolite comes from a pure source in Australia, it also undergoes a slow, extensive and elaborate series of washing, cleansing, purifying and sterilizing to ensure that you receive the purest form with the highest heavy metal and toxin absorption capability.
Zeo Pet & Vet is produced to full GMP standards in Government approved premises using the highest quality equipment. Clinoptilolite is approved in Australia and 'non-hazardous' and listed on the US GRAS list (generally regarded as safe).
What is the difference between Clinoptilolite Zeolite and other Zeolites ? How many Zeolites are there ?
There are 48 naturally forming Zeolites. There are also many forms of synthetic Zeolites manufactured for different specific purposes in industry. Naturally formed Clinoptilolite however is now being researched as one of the best facilitators in the modern fields of medical advancements. Negatively charged, it has the ability to carry beneficial ingredients into the body, and at the same time carry away harmful, other negatively charged ingredients. It seems now that Clinoptilolite has the highest cation exchange and therefore it has the highest functional ability for newly interested medical purposes and concerns.
How long does Zeo Pet & Vet stay in the body ?
Only as long as the normal intake of food and digestion process takes. The Zeolite then passes naturally with waste products.
Why is detoxification so important ?
The average animal is exposed to a high toxin load through water and air pollution, household cleaning supplies, persicides, disinfectants and food additives. According to the EPA, 70,000 chemicals are used commercially in the U.S.A, 65,000 of which are potentially hazardous to our health.
The Environmental Defense Council reports that more than four billion pounds of toxic chemicals are released into the environment each year, including 72 million pounds of known carcinogens. These toxins are strongly correlated with the occurrence of a wide range of diseases including cancers, birth defects and neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's, Autism and Dementia. In today's world, detoxification is essential to prevent disease and create optimal health.
What kinds of toxins could be in my pet's body ?
PCB's, dioxins, phthalates, DDT and furans are just some of the chemicals that are commonly found in human tissue and blood. A 2003 study on humans by Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, Commonweal, and the Environmental Working Group identified a total of 167 hazardous compounds in the blood and urine of American adults (with an average of 91 per person tested), including 76 known to cause cancer, 94 that are toxic to the nervous system, 82 that damage the lungs, 86 that affect hormone function and 79 that cause birth defects.
Included among these compounds were highly toxic heavy metals such as Lead, Aluminium, Mercury and numerous herbicides and pesticides. A similar study the following year by the Environmental Working Group found 287 industrial chemicals in babies' umbilical-cord blood - with an average of 200 chemicals in each newborn tested - including 180 known to cause cancer and 217 that are toxic to the brain and nervous system. These tests are part of a new field of scientific study known as body burden analysis, and the findings are truly frightening.
How does Zeo Pet & Vet differ from classic chelators that may pull heavy metals and toxins out of the body ?
Some classic chelating agents are non-specific in terms of what they attract. For example, one commonly used chelator attracts anything that has a +2 charge. Thus, it takes Lead out of the body but also eliminates Calcium and Magnesium, necessitating supplementation. Zeo Pet & Vet's negatively charged Zeolite cage attracts minerals and toxins that have a positive charge, but its attraction is also based on molecular structure and size as well as other factors.
Therefore, it attracts and eliminates Lead but not Calcium or Magnesium. Zeo Pet & Vet's effect on the body is milder than that of classic chelators. Zeo Pet & Vet removes toxins by placing the ions in the Zeolites molecular cage. It effectively inactivates the toxins' ions, preventing them from further reacting with the body as they are being expelled. (That reactivity is common with other chelators and is commonly called a detox syndrome or healing crisis.)
The heavy metals and other toxins bound by the Zeolite are unable to do any damage to the kidneys or bladder in the process of being eliminated. The only consequential reaction that Zeo Pet & Vet is documented to cause is slight dehydration, which is easily prevented or remedied by drinking plenty of water throughout the day.
Why is it important to maintain proper pH balance ?
It is important to maintain pH balance because Bacteria, Fungi, Yeast and viruses - as well as diseases such as cancer - thrive in an acidic environment. Acidic pH levels of 6.9 and below are conducive to disease. The optimal pH of the body should be slightly alkaline - between 7.35 and 7.45 - which is the level the immune system tends to establish when it is no longer burdened by toxic overload.
Zeolite contains Alumina, could this potentially be harmful ?
No. The Aluminium content is very strongly bonded into the cage like structure of Zeolite, and so is unavailable biologically. The Aluminium content is believed to be bonded and non exchangeable. We are currently performing clinical trials on this very issue.
Does Zeo Pet & Vet require refrigeration after the bottle is opened ?
Yes, or at least it is better to keep in a cool dry place preferably below 18 degrees Celsius or 65 degrees Fahrenheit. Shelf life is 2 years from date of manufacture.
Why does Zeo Pet & Vet contain Vitamin C ?
Vitamin C cannot be stored by the body but it can be carried in the Zeolite structure therefore staying longer in the system providing an important antioxidant. Vitamin C is also important in forming collagen, a protein that gives structure to bones, cartilage, muscle and blood vessels. Vitamin C also aids in the elasticity of the skin and improves resistance to infection, it also helps maintain capillaries, bones and teeth.
Why is Zeo Pet & Vet sold only in glass ?
Accelerated testing was performed with the highest food grade hospital plastic containers. We were not surprised by the results. Zeolite is known for its amazing extraction and absorption qualities this is why NASA uses it. We found that it took less than 3 months to breakdown the lining on the inside of the food grade plastic container. The last thing we want is to fill up the Zeolites structure with toxins after all the processes used to cleanse it. Again this testing was performed using pure Australian Zeolite, sub-micronised from 0.2 to 2.7 microns, this is why we only use glass.
As a food additive, Zeo Pet & Vet can assist in delivering advantageous nutrients and minerals to the body and make them more readily ‘bioavailable’ and at the same time help eliminate harmful others.
Just a few drops in water or food is recommended. See product labels for suggestions.
