To make their hot chocolate, at Green & Blacks they blend dark chocolate with raw cane sugar and cocoa powder pressed from the same cocoa beans as the chocolate to add extra intensity. The texture, is more like granules as opposed to a powder and it melts amazingly well into hot milk with very little residue left on bottom of glass or mug as is the case with most other chocolate drinks.
When added to hot, fresh milk the result is a cocoa-rich chocolate drink with a creamy froth, a rounded flavor provided by the chocolate, and a balanced sweetness.
Green & Blacks Organic Hot Choclate Powder is equally as delicious made into a cold chocolate drink in a tall glass with ice cold milk of your choice & lots of crushed ice. Great summertime treat for you or the children.
